We do not have a planned EOL for either the TS-7680 or the customized TS-7680-XXXXXXXXXXX. Other than the relay drop-in replacement already communicated, we are not aware of any components in the design that are currently driving an end-of-life concern.
That said, the TS-7680 is based on the NXP i.MX28 family, which has been on the market for quite some time. We review lifecycle status with NXP periodically, and based on our latest discussions with them, they do not currently have a planned EOL for the i.MX28 family used on the TS-7680, although they are not offering additional public longevity commitments for that family.
For longer-horizon programs, we also offer the TS-7180, an i.MX6UL-based platform that fits the same enclosure family as the TS-7680. Since the i.MX6UL family remains in NXP’s longevity program through 2035 for applicable variants, it can be a strong option for programs where long-term lifecycle visibility is especially important. If EOLOGIX expects continued production over a long horizon, we would be glad to discuss whether a TS-7180-based approach could be aligned to your exact I/O, cost, and lifecycle goals.
